On 17 April 2026 an EF3 tornado ran 10.35 miles through Buffalo County from Blank Hill Road to northeast of Montana. Near Highway 88 south of Cream it collapsed much of the exterior walls of one home onto its foundation, which is what earned the rating, and damaged other homes and outbuildings along the track, at 928,000 dollars.
